Strategies is a district program designed to help students in grades 2 - 12 who are several grades below their age peers despite adequate ability, behaviour, attendance and English fluency. The Strategies program helps children learn strategies that best suit their learning styles and programming helps students to learn and use important skills in the areas of literacy and numeracy. To be eligible for programming, students must be:
- in Grades 2 to 12
- diagnosed with a learning disability
- demonstrating significant academic delays despite adequate intellectual, linguistic, sensory and emotional development
