Instructional Focus

Each year the staff of Duggan School examine student performance samples that include a variety of testing data, classroom observations, teacher awarded marks and District and Provincial exams in partnership with input from parents to help determine our yearly instructional focus. For the 2019/20 school year our instructional priorities are:

• A focus on improving students' ability to read at grade level through the use of best practices such as daily guided reading, and targeted intervention for struggling students.
